Our Story
Born from fog,

NIMBUS began in a Copenhagen apartment in 2019, when our founder — a materials designer and lifelong eczema sufferer — grew tired of skincare that hid behind twelve-step routines and unreadable labels.
Less, but everything.
We make six things. Not sixty. Each formulation takes eighteen months to develop with independent cosmetic chemists in Denmark and France, and is produced in batches of no more than two thousand units. If an ingredient does not earn its place, it does not exist in the bottle.
Our name comes from the nimbus cloud — the soft, luminous halo of light diffusing through fog. It is how we think about skin: not something to be corrected, but something to be lit gently from within. Our formulas support the barrier rather than stripping it, and our rituals ask you to slow down rather than add steps.
Every vessel is UV-protective glass, designed to be refilled. Every ceramic object is hand-thrown by a two-person atelier in Copenhagen. Every shipment travels carbon-neutral within the EU. This is slow beauty — deliberately.
